Chris Webster


Chris Webster, President of Global System Solutions (GSS), is also the lead Business Analyst and Solutions Designer for a company that prides itself on “sleeves rolled up” support for the past 20 years.

Chris started as a Documenter, Trainer and consulting Business Analyst in the eighties, supporting system implementations in the US, Asia and Europe. In those early days, Chris thrived as a self-starter, reverse engineering system functionalities in environments where home office support was scant.

Moving up to Financial systems implementation project management, Chris was exposed to the international and multi-currency sides of the business. Chris taught PM seminars to groups of 50+ for a time as well.

Looking to make a unique mark on the financial services consulting forum, Chris formed Global System Solutions in June 1998. Now in its 20th year, Global System Solutions offers two major verticals of support, both pioneered by Chris. These support offerings of Business Analysis and System Implementation support, as well as custom automated tool development (Data Management Support Services) complement each other quite well.

Chris’ unique experience involves technical solution development and senior analytical skills, as well as the main impetus for GSS business development.

The 20-year success story with GSS spans pre- and post system implementations support, systems analysis, Operational support and augmentation, procedures development, and project management, pioneered and lead by Chris Webster, with his direct and unwavering involvement. These services are provided for a diverse client base in financial services: Trust, Custody, Global Custody, Retirement Services, Real Estate Investment, Broker Dealer and Securities Settlement and SMAC services.

As GSS enters the beginning of its third decade, Chris’ goals are to further solidify the presence of GSS as an IT support component for Operations, by innovating additional suites of system support methodologies and automated tools.

Chris received a bachelor degree from St. Josephs University. He currently resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

GSS Leadership Team: Steve Wahrle, CTO

Steven Wahrle

Chief Technology Officer

Steven Wahrle joined Global System Solutions in 2006 and currently serves as our Chief Technology Officer. He has over 20 years of experience in the industry and has developed a reputation as a problem solver, building custom data management solutions that allow financial services and retirement services institutions to automate the staging, reporting, and efficient use of data that becomes their own.

Over the years, Steven has managed a wide variety of Data Management Services Support (DMSS) projects for our clients. Recent examples include developing a corporate actions database to store and feed cost basis regulatory information to mainframe systems; an automated workflow and status tracking system for account opening indicative data; advanced automated comparison tools to assist with conversion/release testing; a data hub that automatically accumulates customer and transaction information for AML tracking and various sophisticated and adaptive reporting tools.

His experience includes business analysis, project management, database design, data warehouse planning and design, VBA automation, database and automated DMSS tool development, test automation, test scripts, and network support. Steven is also well-versed with many programming languages including, Visual Studio, VBA, Access, and ASP. He has represented GSS at many of the worlds’ foremost financial institutions.

In addition to helping our clients Steven also manages our company’s internal software, technology infrastructure and website development.

Steven received a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado Christian University. He currently resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

GSS Leadership Team: Andrew Leschak, Managing Director of Business Development

Managing Director of Business Development

Andrew Leschak is Managing Director of Business Development for Global System Solutions. He joined GSS in 2016 and has over 25 years experience in the Financial Services industry, primarily in Trust Banking and Global Custody.

Prior to joining GSS, Andrew spent 10 years at PNC Global Investment Services (formerly PFPC) and BNY Mellon in various operational roles running Global Custody Operations, Business Development, and Global Business Solutions.

Andrew’s experience also includes over 20 years as a consultant to the financial service industry. He was engaged as a partner with Enterprise Iron Consulting in charge of Trust and Custody implementation teams. He also served as a Managing Principal with Symphoni Interactive, a consulting firm based in San Francisco, California. Andrew started his career with SunGard Asset Management Systems LLC (Formerly Premier Solutions Ltd.) in various capacities, most notably in their business consulting practice relating to their Global Plus Product line.

Andrew received a Bachelor of Science degree from Arcadia University. He currently resides in Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Director of Recruiting, Administrative Officer

Debbie Wiedenfeld joined Global System Solutions in 2010 and currently serves as both Director of Recruiting as well as the company’s Administrative Officer. During her career of over 20 years, she has earned a reputation for efficient, solution-focused response to client and internal requests, and she stands ready to bring quality Resources to GSS Clients nation-wide.

Prior to joining Global System Solutions, Debbie filled a similar role in a successful family-owned business for nearly 15 years. Additionally, she has held positions in the Financial Services industry, including “on the ground” Finance Management positions, Automotive Dealership Development & Consulting, as well as several years as a Regional Sales Manager for General Electric’s Automotive Financial Services division based in Chicago.

Debbie currently resides in the greater Milwaukee metropolitan area in the Village of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
